Sasso Marconi is a municipality located between the large cities of Bologna, Modena and Florence.
For those coming from the city, Sasso Marconi represents the natural gateway to the Apennines and the mountain areas, offering visitors very varied landscapes, scents and flavours, offering itself as a starting point to discover the environmental, naturalistic, historical and cultural heritage of the 'Bolognese Apennines.
Sasso Marconi is a treasure chest of small and large treasures which, alongside well-known places and monuments (such as the Rupe, the Mauseleo Marconi, Palazzo De' Rossi or Colle Ameno) there are in fact many emergencies to be discovered and learned about.
