As always, October and November are the months in which the Bolognese Apennines are transformed into a paradise for lovers of festivals, good food and especially truffles. The hills and villages around Bologna are in fact an area known nationally for being the 'home' of the white truffle.
In this way, a great attraction opportunity is renewed for lovers of good food and being together, which involves and animates the town of Guglielmo Marconi with the many suggestions proposed by an appointment that has its undisputed protagonist in the awarded white truffle
The heart of the festival is the central Piazza dei Martiri, which for the occasion becomes a real " Tasty square" where local restaurateurs and local associations offer truffle-based specialties. Not far from the city center, in the park named after Guglielmo Marconi, there is the renowned stand / restaurant organized by the "I Tartufai" Association with a menu based on truffles and traditional local dishes.

Tartufesta is a very important event also from a tourist point of view; it is in fact a unique opportunity to explore and visit the town through our guided tours which take place during the festival and lead visitour
to some of its places of historical, artistic and naturalistic interest, such as the Borgo di Colle Ameno, the Marconi Museum and the Natural Oasis of San Gherardo.
Scattered along the streets of the center are stalls full of Apennine products, typical products, specialties and food and wine curiosities from various Italian regions.
During the event, visitors can browse through the stalls of artistic craftsmanship, the stalls of hobbyists with antiques and collectibles and the stands of local associations.
Finally, as usual, in the days of Tartufesta the city offers shows and exhibitions on the most diverse topics and offers the opportunity to rediscover traditional folk games and dances, re-proposed for the occasion by local associations.
